Job Summary

As a Grid Operations Controller for DB Energie GmbH in Lehrte, you will play a critical role in Germany's energy transition by ensuring the reliable and economical operation of 50Hz and 16.7Hz railway power supply systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include executing planned and unplanned switching operations, monitoring central railway power generation units, and managing fault reporting systems to maintain network stability. Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman (IHK-Meister) or Technician in Electrical Engineering; or completed vocational training in electronics with a willingness to acquire Master-level qualifications.

Experience

Professional experience in the electrotechnical field is required
Experience in 15kV railway power network operations is highly preferred
Experience in executing switching operations and fault management
Proven ability to work in a shift-based environment
Experience in documenting technical events and reporting
