Job Summary

This critical role within the Brandenburg State Police involves the forensic examination and evaluation of digital evidence, specifically focusing on cases involving illegal child and youth pornography. As an IT Forensic Specialist, you will perform preliminary data carrier investigations, ensure the integrity of backups, and utilize specialized forensic software such as X-Ways, Griffeye, and NiKi-KI to process evidence. You will be responsible for creating legally defensible forensic reports, archiving results, and presenting your findings as an expert witness in court. The position also includes the administration of data backup and evaluation technology.
