This position is a doctoral research role within the Chair of Polymer Materials (PPW) at Saarland University. The successful candidate will focus on Powder Aerosol Deposition (PAD), an innovative, sinter-free method for producing polymer-ceramic coatings used in Dye Sensitized Solar Cells and other energy materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include polymer and colloid synthesis, creating hybrid particles via nano(co)precipitation, and conducting PAD experiments. Additionally, the role involves characterizing layers, managing laboratory equipment, and contributing two hours per week to teaching activities, specifically in material science internships.
