Job Summary

As a Commissioning Engineer at Schmitt Engineering, you will play a critical role in bringing complex electrical systems to life on both national and international construction sites. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the commissioning of SVC PLUS control systems, which includes developing technical concepts, drawings, and software documentation in accordance with international standards. You will act as a technical bridge between the project management and the client, ensuring quality through rigorous testing, acceptance procedures, and documentation. Beyond technical execution, you will be responsible for training client personnel and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in commissioning electrical or automation systems on construction sites
  • Experience in creating technical drawings, software, and documentation according to technical standards
  • Experience in technical coordination with customers and project management
  • Experience in automation and control technology (specifically Matlab/Simulink or Simatic systems)
