As a Senior Data Engineer at Schmitt Engineering, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the development, operation, and optimization of complex data products and pipelines. Your daily activities will involve building batch and streaming pipelines within Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses using SQL, Spark, and Delta Lake. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of data products, from ingestion and transformation to monitoring and workflow orchestration with Airflow. The role requires a strong focus on data quality, performance optimization, and GDPR compliance, ensuring that datasets are perfectly prepared for Power BI analysis.
