Job Summary

This is a high-impact leadership role based in Alzey, Germany, where you will lead the microbiology laboratory for a brand-new, high-tech parenteral manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for overseeing all microbiological testing for commercial products, managing environmental monitoring (EM) samples, and ensuring strict compliance with cGMP procedures and Good Documentation Practices. Your day-to-day will involve leading laboratory personnel, organizing the lab according to lean principles, and managing external testing activities. You will also play a critical role in equipment qualification, method verification according to pharmacopoeia guidelines, and supporting regulatory inspections from bodies like the EMA and FDA.
