As an IT Architect at the Federal Administration Office (BVA), you will play a pivotal role in shaping Germany's and Europe's digital public safety infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software architectures for critical systems such as the National Firearms Register and the Central Register of Foreigners. Your daily work involves collaborating within an architecture team and with external service providers to manage a landscape of over 70 systems with high availability requirements. You will pilot new technologies, lead the transition toward DevOps and containerization, and represent the agency's technical interests in national and international committees.
