Job Summary
This permanent role at the Kirchhoff Institute for Physics involves working at the forefront of national and international research projects, specifically developing electronics for particle physics detector systems. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of electronic assemblies, from circuit design and PCB layout to the manufacturing and commissioning of prototypes and small series. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development of digital, analog, and mixed-signal electronic circuits
- Practical experience in planning, constructing, and testing electronic systems
- Demonstrated experience using standard PCB design software
- Experience in microcontroller or control programming is preferred
- Experience working with precision tools and electronic measuring devices

- Must be willing to work in a scientific research environment. Position is located in Heidelberg and is eligible for the subsidized 'Deutschlandticket' for mobility.
