Job Summary

This role involves the conceptual design and coordination of contractual nature conservation and EU-cofinanced funding programs for the Thuringian Ministry for Environment, Energy, Nature Conservation and Forests. Day-to-day, the successful candidate will coordinate landscape management concepts, perform efficiency monitoring of funding measures, and provide expert advice to stakeholders and project sponsors. The position is central to implementing biodiversity and climate goals through the coordination of the Nature Conservation Specialist Information System (LINFOS). Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in biology, nature conservation, landscape planning, or agroecology
  • Experience in the implementation of state, federal, or EU funding programs
  • Professional experience in applying geographic information systems
  • Experience in project implementation and public administration is preferred
