Job Summary

As a Lead Engineer in High-Voltage and Energy Projects, you will be a central technical figure at the Erlangen site, driving the development of complex energy technology solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve planning, coordinating, and monitoring technical activities for high-voltage switchgear projects, ensuring strict adherence to QA/QC guidelines and performance standards. You will act as a vital bridge between project management, interdisciplinary engineering teams, and external stakeholders, providing technical support during tender phases and project execution. A significant portion of the role focuses on technical validation, including the assessment of BOP contractor proposals and ensuring system integration compliance with international standards. This position is particularly attractive due to its 35-hour work week with flexible hours, the opportunity for mobile work, and the chance to lead innovative projects in the renewable and conventional energy sectors within a stable, permanent contract framework.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree in Engineering, preferably specializing in Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification with relevant industry experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the energy, engineering, or high-voltage switchgear environment
  • Proven experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects for high-voltage plants or power generation
  • Experience in managing interdisciplinary engineering teams and complex project processes
  • Demonstrated expertise in interpreting technical requirements and international engineering standards
  • Experience in technical bid evaluation and contractor management
