Job Summary

As a Process Engineer in Electronics Production, you will be responsible for the systematic analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes for a leading company in highly automated electronics manufacturing in Berlin. Your day-to-day activities involve monitoring key performance indicators such as CP/CPK, throughput, and scrap rates to drive continuous improvement. You will take technical ownership of production processes, conduct error analyses, and provide on-site support for series production. A significant part of the role includes managing the selection and qualification of solder pastes, developing design guidelines for PCBs, and implementing Design Rule Checks (DRC) in CAD/EDA tools. This position is particularly attractive as it offers a permanent 35-hour work week, a planned transition to the client company, and the opportunity to lead investment projects for new hardware and software. You will act as a central point of contact for technological queries and coordinate with international suppliers, making this a dynamic role that balances technical expertise with project management.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a comparable technical field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing or industrial production
  • Deep technical knowledge of manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies (PCBs)
  • Experience in project management and economic efficiency analysis
  • Experience with quality methods and key performance indicators (KPIs)
