Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer at the Office for Inland Traffic Engineering (ABVT), you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of Germany's federal waterways. Your daily responsibilities include the development and conceptualization of both floating and fixed navigation signs, conducting market analyses, and designing technical solutions for autonomous energy supply systems. You will operate an energy technology laboratory to test regenerative power systems and provide technical support to various waterway authorities. Required Skills
Education

Experience

- Practical experience in the technical support and operation of electrotechnical systems and plants
- Experience with public procurement regulations and tender documentation

- Valid Class B (or Class 3) driver's license and willingness to drive service vehicles; Willingness to undertake multi-day business trips within Germany and neighboring countries; For foreign degrees, an 'anabin' comparability certificate is required.
