Job Summary

In this full-time, permanent role at the Central Payroll Office of the Diocese of Speyer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for a defined group of approximately 6,500 employees. Your daily activities will include maintaining personnel master data, calculating sick pay, and ensuring compliance with tax and social security regulations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding payroll queries and handle all communications and reporting to social security carriers and authorities. Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., Social Security Specialist, Tax Assistant, or Office Management) ideally with further certification/specialization in Payroll.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting
  • Proven experience in handling social security and wage tax regulations
  • Experience in communicating with health insurance funds and social security authorities
  • Professional experience in maintaining personnel master data and digital payroll systems
