Job Summary

As a Network Specialist for a medium-sized IT service provider in Munich, you will be responsible for the technical support and operational management of customer network and IT security environments. Your daily activities will involve designing, configuring, and commissioning complex infrastructures across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Firewall systems. You will play a key role in optimizing existing infrastructures and leading projects from initial configuration to final implementation. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy variety, as it covers everything from basic routing and switching to advanced technologies like SD-WAN and SDN. The position offers a highly attractive package including 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours, and an intensive multi-month onboarding phase to ensure your success. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or vocational training as an IT Systems Electronician, Communication Technician, Network Technician, or Information Electronician.

Experience

  • Professional experience with switching, routing, and standard network protocols
  • Experience in the technical support and operation of network and IT security environments
  • Practical experience in designing and configuring LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures
  • Experience in project management including commissioning and implementation of IT systems
  • Experience or willingness to learn advanced technologies such as SD-WAN, BGP, and automation
