This role involves providing technical and organizational support within the plant genome editing and protoplast laboratories. The successful candidate will prepare and conduct laboratory, greenhouse, and field experiments with genome-edited or genetically modified organisms, focusing on various plant species. Key responsibilities also include maintaining a collection of plasmids, bacteria, and in-vitro plant cultures, as well as meticulous data documentation, analysis, and management. Furthermore, the Technical Assistant will guide and supervise guests and trainees, specifically those pursuing a career as a biology laboratory technician.
