Job Summary

This role involves working within the 'Immissionsschutz' (Pollution Control) department of the Saxony State Directorate in Dresden. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for drafting complex technical statements regarding air quality control and pollution legislation under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). Your day-to-day duties include monitoring industrial plants that require permits, handling administrative appeals, and providing expert opinions for legal proceedings. You will also support the supervision of lower-level pollution control authorities and address environmental complaints.
