Job Summary

As a Quality & Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the high standards of analytical instrumentation for a global leader in Field-Flow Fractionation. Your daily responsibilities include conducting final quality inspections of products before delivery, performing on-site installations, and commissioning systems at customer locations. You will act as a primary technical contact, providing remote troubleshooting via video and email, as well as performing maintenance and repairs. A significant part of the role involves training customer personnel on complex analytical systems. This position is ideal for technical professionals with a background in chemistry or chromatography who enjoy a mix of hands-on laboratory work and field service. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, a structured onboarding process, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology used in life sciences and environmental research.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Technician certification, or a Master/Technician qualification in a technical field with relevant chemical industry experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in chemistry, chromatography, or analytical technology
  • Experience with HPLC, GPC, SEC, or Field-Flow Fractionation systems is highly preferred
  • Proven track record in technical problem-solving and customer-facing roles
  • Experience in performing equipment installations and commissioning
