Job Summary

This role is ideal for a chemically or technically qualified professional with strong technical competence and customer service skills, focusing on analytical instrumentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing final product quality control before dispatch, installing and commissioning equipment at customer sites, and providing technical support via remote troubleshooting (video, phone, email). The engineer will also conduct service, maintenance, and repairs, and provide technical training to customer personnel on equipment handling. Key qualifications include a background in chemistry or engineering, preferably with experience in chromatography and analytics (HPLC, GPC, SEC, Field Flow Fractionation). The position requires excellent communication skills in both German and English, a professional demeanor, strong problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel internationally up to 30% to represent the company on-site.
