Job Summary

This Service Engineer role involves ensuring the quality and functionality of advanced analytical devices before customer delivery, followed by on-site installation and commissioning across the EU and internationally (up to 30% travel). A core part of the job is providing expert customer support through remote troubleshooting via video conference, phone, or email, and conducting essential service, maintenance, and repair work at customer locations. Candidates must possess a strong background in chemistry, ideally as a Chemical Technician or Engineer, or have relevant technical training combined with professional experience in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GPC, SEC, and Field-Flow Fractionation. Success requires excellent problem-solving skills, professional demeanor, and fluency in both German and English for effective client communication, acting as a key representative for the company.
