Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the quality and functionality of advanced analytical equipment before customer delivery and providing comprehensive technical support post-sale. The Quality and Service Engineer will perform final device inspections, install and commission equipment on customer sites, and conduct remote troubleshooting via video, phone, or email. Key responsibilities also include performing service, maintenance, and repair work, and providing technical instruction and training to customer personnel on handling the devices and systems. Candidates should possess a background in chemistry or a technical field, ideally with experience in analytical techniques like HPLC, GPC, SEC, and Field-Flow Fractionation. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, professional communication abilities in both German and English, and a willingness to travel up to 30% internationally within the EU and beyond.

Education
Chemical Technician, Chemical Engineer, Master Craftsman (Meister), or Technician qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in chemistry, chromatography, and analytics (ideal)
- Professional experience in HPLC, GPC, SEC, and Field-Flow Fractionation (highly desirable)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel within the EU and internationally (maximum 30% travel)
