As a Data Engineer for Customer Experience, you will play a pivotal role in evolving and maintaining near-time data pipelines to process customer information for a prominent financial services firm. Your daily responsibilities involve developing infrastructure for data consumers and machine learning models, integrating diverse data sources such as HTTP endpoints and relational databases. You will work within a collaborative team to optimize development processes using CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps methodologies. A unique aspect of this role is the focus on 'learning from interaction,' where you automate the analysis of human-company interactions to directly improve the customer experience. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification with strong analytical expertise.

Experience

  • Long-term experience in developing data processing pipelines involving heterogeneous source systems
  • Deep professional experience using Python and Spark, ideally within the Databricks environment
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • Professional experience in implementing Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
  • Experience in software engineering principles, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
