Job Summary

This role is a critical position within a financial IT service provider, focusing on the 24/7 monitoring and control of z/OS and related infrastructure systems, including SAN, Tape, and Storage. The successful candidate will be responsible for the autonomous handling of incidents following ITIL standards, implementing immediate measures to stabilize Mainframe and infrastructure components within a three-shift operation. Key daily tasks include managing operational critical actions like IPLs, LPAR management, and application restarts, coordinating with external vendors during disruptions, and maintaining technical documentation. This position requires a completed IT qualification or comparable experience, deep knowledge of z/OS and related tools (JES2, TSO/ISPF, JCL), and experience with ITIL processes. It offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to work in a demanding, central role within IT administration.
