Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of accredited EMC tests across the automotive, industrial, and medical sectors. Your daily activities will involve evaluating test requirements and standards to create comprehensive test plans, as well as documenting and analyzing measurement data to produce formal test reports. Beyond technical testing, you will handle project management tasks such as calculating costs, preparing quotes, and overseeing product certifications. A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to contribute to the continuous optimization and development of a new, state-of-the-art EMC center. This position is ideal for a technical expert who enjoys a mix of hands-on laboratory work, rigorous documentation, and client-facing project coordination within a highly innovative vehicle engineering environment.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, High-Frequency Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of EMC testing, preferably within automotive, industrial, or medical sectors
- Practical experience in testing high-voltage components
- Experience using laboratory management systems and specialized EMC software such as R&S Elektra or EMC32
- Proven experience in evaluating test requirements and international standards
Languages
Additional
- The role requires knowledge of specific OEM standards and the ability to manage accredited testing processes. Hybrid working model is available.
