Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to join the Hamburg Center for Kidney Health, one of Europe's leading kidney research institutions. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will redefine the metabolic regulation of kidney diseases by investigating metabolic signaling networks that drive disease progression and therapy response. Your day-to-day work involves planning and executing LC–MS-based metabolomics experiments, performing functional metabolic assays such as Seahorse analyses, and conducting cell-painting-based profiling. You will work within a world-class infrastructure at the newly opened Campus Forschung II, collaborating closely with experts in iPSC/organoid models and high-throughput drug screening. This position is ideal for a scientist looking to develop professional independence and leadership skills while contributing to high-visibility research within the SFB/TRR 422 framework. The role is initially limited to three years and offers a collaborative, international environment focused on identifying novel therapeutic targets for renal diseases.
