Job Summary

The Landeslabor Berlin-Brandenburg (LLBB), an independent state-accredited testing service provider, is seeking a Scientific Officer to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for the expert examination and food law assessment of plant-based foods, including fruit, vegetable, and potato products, nuts, oilseeds, legumes, and related products, as well as seasonings and spices. Key responsibilities include preparing expert opinions and reports for clients, providing professional advice, and developing and validating testing methods in various analytical fields such as refractometry, titrimetry, potentiometry, gravimetry, enzymatics, and spectroscopy. You will also proactively ensure compliance with quality management requirements and assist in the training of food chemists, chemical laboratory technicians, and food inspectors.
