This role involves ensuring the continuous operation, maintenance, and expansion of digital infrastructure assets, specifically focusing on telephone and signal intercom systems, including associated end devices. The administrator will be responsible for overseeing construction, planning system renewals and expansions, and ensuring the safety and compliance of maintenance activities. A critical part of the job includes managing cable documentation and participating in an on-call rotation (Rufbereitschaftsdienst). The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Information or Communication Electronics Technician, supplemented by advanced training as a certified Electrical Engineer specializing in Communications/Information Technology, and possesses initial professional experience in network technology, fiber optic, and copper cable networks. This position requires a high degree of independence, solution-orientation, and a strong safety consciousness, making it a vital role in maintaining Stuttgart's public transport infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an Information Electronics Technician or Communication Electronics Technician (or comparable); Further training as a state-certified Electrical Engineer specializing in Communications Technology / Information Technology (or comparable experience).
