Job Summary

The City of Cologne is seeking an IT Specialist for Geo-Data Processing to serve as the BIM Strategy Lead, working part-time (19.5 hours/week) to drive the city's digital transformation. This role involves developing and implementing a city-wide strategy for Building Information Modeling (BIM), including creating service instructions and coordinating the existing city-wide BIM working group. Key responsibilities include integrating BIM data and processes into the city's Geo-Data Infrastructure (GDI) and data ecosystems, and representing BIM in the development of a smart city. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Informatics, Geo-Informatics, Civil Engineering, or Architecture) and possesses deep expertise in BIM methodology, GIS/GDI integration, and strategic project management. Required Skills

Education
