Job Summary

This role involves the crucial maintenance and optimization of central control and automation systems within a leading university hospital environment. The Central Control Systems Technician will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting central control technology, including SCADA systems, pneumatic tube systems, remote meter reading, and networked electronic locking systems. Key day-to-day tasks include analyzing and resolving automation errors, performing installations on existing systems, managing user accounts and access rights for IT and access systems, and ensuring compliance with data protection and KRITIS (Critical Infrastructure) regulations. The ideal candidate must possess a background in IT, electrical engineering, or automation technology, coupled with several years of practical experience in measurement and control technology or building management systems (GLT). Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree in Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Experience with system commissioning and supplier acceptance processes
  • Professional experience in administration of user accounts and access rights
