Job Summary

This role involves taking independent responsibility for electrical engineering tasks within a major university hospital environment, encompassing clinical, administrative, commercial, and laboratory buildings. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for in-house planning of electrical systems, specifically focusing on medium and low-voltage systems, as well as low-current systems, and adapting/supporting measurement, control, and regulation (MCR) systems. A core function is managing and directing external engineering firms for new construction, renovations, extensions, maintenance, and repair projects across the hospital campus. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Hospital Operations/Planning Technology, combined with knowledge of public procurement law (VOB/VOL), construction regulations (HOAI phases 1-9), and experience in planning and construction supervision.
