Job Summary

This leadership role involves taking overall responsibility for the accurate and timely billing of all laboratory services to statutory health insurance (GKV) and private health insurers (PKV) within the Medicover group. The Head of Laboratory Billing will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, analyze and optimize existing billing processes, and lead related projects in process management. Key responsibilities include managing and developing the billing team, monitoring relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), and generating reports. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Business Administration or Health Economics, coupled with deep, multi-year professional experience in billing, preferably within a laboratory context. Strong leadership skills, analytical capabilities, and expertise in modeling billing changes (such as those resulting from the Laboratory Reform or GOÄ Reform) are essential for success in this demanding and critical position.
