Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of all incoming materials at Lilly's new high-tech production facility in Alzey, Germany. The Quality Control Expert Technician is responsible for the timely execution of sampling, handling, and testing of incoming goods, which includes excipients and printed packaging materials, often operating in a cleanroom environment using techniques such as Raman and Eye-C. Day-to-day activities require strict adherence to cGMP, EHS, and GDP standards, focusing heavily on data integrity (ALCOA+ principles) and accurate documentation. A critical function is identifying and escalating atypical results and deviations, participating in root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to maintain inspection readiness. Candidates should possess a CTA qualification with industry experience or a science degree (Chemistry, Biology) with practical GMP exposure, along with written and oral proficiency in both German and English. Required Skills

Education

CTA qualification (Chemical-Technical Assistant equivalent) or Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other science disciplines (preferred)

Experience

  • Practical experience in a GMP-related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience with Raman technology (preferred)
  • Professional experience supporting batch release and site priorities
