Job Summary

This role seeks a (Senior) Cloud Application Security IT Architect to strengthen and evolve the cloud-based IT applications at Fraport AG, one of Europe's leading airport operators. Day-to-day, you will be crucial in developing and implementing robust IT security measures, acting as the primary interface between application teams and the central IT Security/Governance department. You will apply hands-on expertise to integrate security requirements within core platforms like Azure DevOps and the Container Platform, leveraging Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation. A key focus is advancing DevSecOps processes throughout the software lifecycle, including vulnerability management and standardization. Success in this position requires a completed university degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, coupled with multi-year experience in cloud architectures (preferably Azure) and deep knowledge of IAM and application vulnerability management. This is an exciting opportunity to advise application teams on Security by Design within the Cloud Competence Center, driving innovation and security standards across critical airport infrastructure.
