Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Team Lead Data Engineering professional to join the Data & Analytics Unit, driving the implementation and optimization of data products crucial to Deichmann's success. The Team Lead will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Data Engineers, fostering specialization, and ensuring the reliable and scalable delivery of data services via a Data Mesh architecture. Day-to-day activities include guiding product teams in the data and analytics strategy, conceptualizing and implementing new data products using agile methodologies, and establishing a professional development environment for performance and cost transparency. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's degree in a STEM field, extensive experience in data engineering and leadership, and practical expertise in cloud technologies, data modeling, and software engineering principles.
