Job Summary

This role involves leading and coordinating material-focused Research & Development (R&D) projects within the power plant construction sector, specifically supporting large gas and steam turbine fleets. The Project Engineer will manage multidisciplinary, global teams, ensuring technology projects meet technical specifications, timelines, and budgets. Key responsibilities include identifying and managing technical and commercial risks, coordinating with internal and external laboratories, and managing critical interfaces with manufacturing, service, and material testing labs. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with over five years of experience managing industrial R&D projects. Success in this role requires strong communication, intercultural competence, and a proactive, analytical approach, along with fluency in both German and English.
