Job Summary

As a Commissioning Technician in the rail vehicle industry, you will play a vital role in preparing modern trains for operational use. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting comprehensive tests on rail vehicles according to strict guidelines, ensuring all electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic functions are operational. You will be tasked with complex troubleshooting by analyzing circuit diagrams, technical drawings, and software data to identify and resolve faults. Beyond technical repairs, you will document all results and contribute to the continuous improvement of commissioning processes. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician with further qualification as an Electrical Technician (State-certified Technician) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience working with electrically active components and devices
  • Experience in fault diagnosis using specifications and technical drawings
  • Experience working within strict safety and EHS regulations
  • Experience in the rail vehicle industry or a comparable industrial sector is implied

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Must be willing to work in shifts. Physical ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., control cabinets) and at heights of up to 4 meters (e.g., roof work platforms) is required.
