Job Summary

This role involves hands-on technical support and maintenance within a large data center environment for a leading global IT service provider. The IT Service Technician will be responsible for the physical installation and de-installation of hardware, including servers, storage systems, and switches within racks. Daily tasks include meticulous cable management, specifically connecting and disconnecting power (copper) and network cables (copper/fiber optic) strictly following documentation. A key part of the job is handling ticket processing, performing optical and physical troubleshooting of servers and cabling issues, and ensuring precise, timely documentation of all work in customer systems, which must be done in English. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in IT or strong IT affinity, excellent hardware knowledge, and a high degree of conscientiousness and willingness to learn.
