Job Summary

This crucial role involves supporting the interdisciplinary ADAPT project, which aims to safely utilize treated wastewater for agricultural irrigation while minimizing environmental risks associated with trace substances. The Chemical Laboratory Technician will play a central part in establishing and managing the Infiltration Continuum Lab (ICL) infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently executing complex analytical procedures and experimental series, maintaining the equipment park, ensuring quality assurance, and documenting results according to scientific standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities in German and English, and prior laboratory experience, preferably in hydrogeology, geochemistry, or soil science. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to cutting-edge research in environmental engineering and water resource management.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Laboratory Technician (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Technician) or state-recognized Technical Assistant.

Experience

  • Professional experience in laboratory work
  • Experience preferred in Hydrogeology, Geochemistry, or Soil Science
  • Experience in managing laboratory organization and equipment

Additional
