This role involves providing technical service, maintenance, and modernization for standard and process crane systems in the Freiburg area. The Service Technician will be responsible for conducting mechanical and electrical retrofits, repairs, and modernizations using modern tools. Key day-to-day tasks include participating in inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and systematically analyzing and resolving faults in industrial cranes. A core part of the job is customer interaction, involving advising clients on increasing operational safety and system availability, and occasionally providing product usage instructions. The ideal candidate must have a completed technical education (e.g., as an Electrician or Mechatronics Technician), foundational knowledge in electrical engineering, and experience in industrial cranes or general mechanical engineering.
