Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Electrician or Mechatronics Technician ready to work on the assembly and commissioning of advanced port crane systems, including mobile harbor cranes and stackers, primarily based in Hamburg but involving extensive international travel. Day-to-day responsibilities include complex troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing faults in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components. The technician will utilize PLC systems for commissioning new equipment and prototypes, meticulously documenting all test results and repairs. A key aspect of the role is the temporary leadership of construction sites both domestically and worldwide, ensuring smooth team coordination. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable electro-technical qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in industrial electronics, control, and drive technology
  • Initial practical knowledge of PLC or frequency converters
  • Experience in fault analysis and repair of complex machinery
  • Experience in leading construction sites (temporary)
