Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Electrical Engineering Automation Engineer based in Düsseldorf, focusing on the software development and maintenance of control systems for global material handling solutions, specifically mobile harbor cranes. Key responsibilities include PLC development, utilizing Siemens STEP7 and CODESYS according to ISO 13849 standards, planning and executing software upgrades for existing systems, and providing technical support to manufacturing, service, sales, and training departments worldwide. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering and at least five years of experience in software development, coupled with strong expertise in PLC programming languages (FUP, AWL, SCL, ST).
