Job Summary

This role involves working as an Onsite Data Center Technician within a long-term infrastructure project for a leading IT service provider in Walldorf, Germany. The primary focus is on the physical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of complex network infrastructures. Day-to-day tasks include the setup, modification, and equipping of server racks, including copper and fiber optic cabling, as well as the installation and removal of servers, storage systems, and network components. The technician will be responsible for direct system troubleshooting, hardware inspection, ticket processing, and meticulous documentation of all work, which must be performed in English. Candidates should possess at least two years of professional experience in an IT or data center environment, strong hardware knowledge, and the willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation, potentially including weekend and on-call duty.
