Job Summary

This role involves working as a Medical Informatician and Health Data Space Officer within the Central Information Technology / Data Integration Center (DIZ) of a university hospital. The primary focus is on the development, integration, testing, and maintenance of both frontend and backend components within the existing DIZ system landscape. Key responsibilities include creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for integrating these applications into the hospital's workflows, conceptualizing data flows, and actively participating in the implementation of MII Use Cases and third-party funded projects. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or a related field, possesses programming skills (Python, Java, or other), and has good knowledge of interoperability standards like FHIR and HL7, along with experience in database systems and SQL. The position is full-time, initially temporary, with the goal of extension.
