Job Summary

This role serves as the central technical expert for electrical engineering within the Federal Institute for Real Estate Tasks (BImA), supporting the Facility Management division's goal of achieving climate-neutral operations. The consultant acts as the reliable primary contact for responsible electrical specialists across Germany, leveraging deep technical understanding and knowledge of regulatory frameworks. Key responsibilities include leading and steering central projects, such as the introduction of intelligent energy data management systems, crucial for sustainable operation and decarbonization efforts across federal properties. Furthermore, the consultant is responsible for analyzing and preparing current changes in laws, directives, and ordinances related to electrical systems for internal publication, conducting training sessions, and developing standardized procedures for compliant operation, modernization, and renovation of electrical infrastructure. This position requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and contributes directly to managing the German government's complex and diverse real estate portfolio.
