Job Summary

This role involves joining the German Aerospace Center (DLR) as an Enabling Officer within the Technical Infrastructure's Facility Management team in Göttingen. You will act as a crucial link between Technical Facility Management and DLR institutes, supporting the development and implementation of infrastructural project ideas stemming from scientific strategies. Day-to-day, you will gather knowledge during the early idea phase, apply your experience from downstream processes to evaluate implementation options, and advise institutes on industry trends and requirements. The primary goal is to enhance project quality, reduce implementation time, and minimize startup issues by translating and communicating infrastructural needs to ensure they are considered in site development planning. This position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or architectural field and proven professional experience in project management and the design phase of construction measures.

Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree (Master's) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or other relevant technical field

Experience

  • Professional experience in the design phase of construction measures (HOAI phases 2–4)
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the implementation and interpretation of VOB, VHB, LBOs, HOAI (including DIN 276), RBBau, and ARR
  • Knowledge in the creation of ZBau measures
  • Knowledge of DIN 50001 for energy management and relevant GEFMA standards
  • Proven competence in project management
