This role involves serving as an Inspection Officer within the Material Testing Institute for Construction (MPA) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), focusing on the aggregates and asphalt industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing mandatory monitoring, inspections, and sampling procedures within the stone, earth, and asphalt mixing plant sectors. Key tasks include creating material mixture recipes, analyzing test results using mathematical-statistical methods, and generating routine and scientific reports. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Geosciences or Engineering, excellent German language skills, proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access), and a Class B driving license. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree (FH/HS-Abschluss) in Geosciences, Civil Engineering, Construction Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Engineering, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in monitoring and inspection procedures
  • Prior knowledge and/or professional experience in processing and factory production control (Werkseigene Produktionskontrolle) within the stone and earth industry and asphalt production is ideal
