Job Summary

This role is for a highly qualified Civil or Materials Testing Engineer to join the "Steel and Corrosion" working group at the prestigious cbm ∙ Center for Building Materials and Materials Testing at TU Munich. The core responsibilities involve external monitoring and supervision of concrete reinforcing and prestressing steel manufacturers, both domestically and internationally. Key daily tasks include planning and executing specialized material tests, evaluating experimental data using mathematical-statistical methods, assessing production statistics, and generating comprehensive technical reports and quotations. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Materials, or Mechanical), possess strong German communication skills (C1 minimum), and be prepared for regular business travel.
