Job Summary

This role involves the independent planning, coordination, and execution of projects focused on plant planning and modifications to existing production facilities within a leading global manufacturer of specialty chemicals. The Project Engineer EIC will be responsible for autonomously performing planning tasks in the fields of electrical, instrumentation, and control (EIC) technology, including managing external personnel. Key duties also include conducting risk and hazard analyses, supporting functional tests, commissioning, and shutdown maintenance, as well as developing and implementing maintenance strategies. Furthermore, the engineer will manage power supply systems, encompassing planning, inspections, monitoring, testing, repairs, and damage management, and participate in an on-call service. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree in Electrical, Automation, or Energy Technology and possesses strong expertise in EIC planning for complex industrial plants, coupled with fluent German skills.

Required Skills

Education

Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Energy Technology, or comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in EIC planning, installation, and support of complex industrial plants
  • Experience as a responsible electrical specialist (Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft) is advantageous
