Job Summary

This role involves developing comprehensive web applications, encompassing both frontend and backend, specifically tailored for medical data acquisition, analysis, and visualization within the Institute for Digital Medicine. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining REST/GraphQL APIs, potentially integrating HL7-FHIR interfaces, and integrating various databases (SQL, NoSQL). The developer will also contribute to regulatory compliance infrastructure (data protection, security, MDR/MPG), collaborate with Data Scientists on data pipelines, and participate in architectural design, CI/CD, and automated testing. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or higher in Medical Informatics, Data Science, AI, or Computer Science, and possesses experience with modern full-stack technologies, database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), version control, and agile methods. This position offers interdisciplinary scientific work at the intersection of medicine and informatics in an innovative research institute.
