Job Summary
This role is for an Electrical Engineer specializing in 50 Hz building technology and electro-mechanical systems within the railway infrastructure sector in Vienna. Day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting technical specialists during the planning and construction phases, performing quality assurance, accepting externally procured services, and managing project-related billing and documentation. A core function is the technical and economic monitoring of contracts, ensuring adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality standards. Candidates must hold an Electrical Engineering degree (HTL/FH/University level) and be prepared to complete specific railway and construction technology courses (EBIST). HTL, FH, or University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
Experience
- Professional experience in planning and construction management of electrical infrastructure projects
- Experience in quality inspection and acceptance of externally procured services
- Experience in technical and economic contract supervision
- Willingness to complete the FW/PE01 Railway and Construction Technology Course (EBIST) (required for external candidates)

- Driver's License Class B; Willingness to perform on-call duty (Rufbereitschaft) if necessary; Must demonstrate necessary route suitability (Streckentauglichkeit); Must provide a criminal record certificate upon hiring.
