Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Project Engineer for associated works within the track superstructure program for the Central Region of DB InfraGO AG, focusing on systems like overhead lines, grounding, 50 Hz, and signaling technology (STE). The coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant implementation of projects, managing orders for related trades, and efficiently utilizing existing framework agreements. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating internal and external stakeholders, preparing commissioning documents, and acting as the central interface between track infrastructure, construction supervision, equipment technology, and budget planning. The ideal candidate holds a degree in engineering or economics, or possesses equivalent experience in STE trades, coupled with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to manage complex infrastructure projects and provide clear decision-making bases for project leadership.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Engineering or Economics, or equivalent qualifications

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and implementing infrastructure projects
  • Experience in organizing work in signaling/control technology or overhead line technology
  • Long-term experience in STE trades (if no formal degree)

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Knowledge of VOB/VOL (German construction contract procedures) and VV Bau/EIGV or VV Bau-STE (German railway construction regulations) is preferred, or willingness to quickly acquire this knowledge.
